Still the 1-litre sports bike class leader, the CBR1000RR Fireblade keeps the same frame and suspension introduced last season, but with cylinder head modifications which give an extra 3bhp peak power. Sharing the same performance figures as the limited availability 'SP' version, the fuel injection system has been remapped and the exhaust headers revised for increased torque. For 2014 the NC700S sees a 75cc capacity increase to give more power and torque, a new exhaust silecncer and taller gearing while top speed and acceleration are improved. ABS is now standard equipment and the increasingly popular Dual Clutch transmission is optional. Still manufactured in Japan, the new NC750S will be available in the New Year.
